There’s a drive-up entrance with a little booth for check-in and a scale somewhere on the drive so trucks stop twice - once in, once out - since loads are charged by weight at most transfer stations. The yard is mostly concrete and big bays or containers for compacting; large roll-off trucks come and go. Expect tractors and pickups with farm trailers during planting and harvest seasons, and a short line of cars and small trucks on weekend mornings.
