(319) 753-8722A working regional landfill out on Washington Road that sees both household pickups and farm/commercial trucks. Locals use it for regular trash runs and for larger seasonal cleanups when fields and barns get cleared. It’s the kind of place where pickups, trailers, and semi loads all show up on the same day.
Drive in past a small entrance booth and follow the gravel drives toward the active pits and cover areas; there’s a scale you’ll cross to be weighed, so plan for that stop. Trucks and trailers pull up to drop-off points and staff direct traffic from the booth, so lanes can shift depending on operations. The site is big-large molded slopes of compacted cover and working cells are visible from the drop-off area-so expect a lot of semi traffic and heavy equipment moving around. Weekends and springtime cleanup days tend to have longer lines and more farm trailers than midweek.
