Drive up the lane to an entrance booth and you'll see a scale; most landfills charge by weight so expect to stop on that scale either going in or coming out. There’s a large tipping area and compacted cells visible from the driving lanes, with room for commercial rigs to maneuver. The recycling or drop-off bins, if available, are usually off to one side past the booth. Lines form on weekends and during seasonal farm cleanups, so plan for possible waits.
