There’s a gated entrance and a scale - tipping fees are typically charged by weight, so plan to stop on the way in and again leaving. Pull up to the weigh booth and then follow the traffic flow to the dumping area; large compacted mounds and active cover work are usually visible from the road. Recycling and metal are often off to the side, separated from the main tipping cells, which helps when unloading. Weekends and spring cleanup season tend to have the longest lines, with contractors and residents stacking up.
