(765) 472-7224A county-run solid waste site on the west side of Peru where locals drop off household trash, yard waste and recyclables. Small-town scale - not a massive regional landfill, but more than just a curbside bin; neighbors and DIYers use it the most.
Drive up to a gravel entrance with an attendant booth near the lane and a scale a short distance inside; plan to slow down for traffic. Recycling containers and yard-waste areas are usually grouped to one side, with general trash drop-off and larger roll-off areas toward the back. Pull up to the booth, tell them what’s in the truck, then follow the signs or attendants’ directions to the correct pile or bin. Weekends, especially during spring cleanup, can get backed up so there’s often a short line of vehicles waiting to get in.
