A no-frills county landfill just north of Morristown at 11380 N 300 E. Locals, contractors and commercial haulers use this site when loads are too big for curbside pickup. It’s the final burial spot for trash rather than a recycling drop-off.
Drive in and pull up to a small entrance booth and a scale; tipping fees are typically charged by weight so plan to stop at the scale again on the way out. The property is mostly dirt and mounded cells with heavy trucks coming and going, so expect some dust and wide turning areas. Commercial trucks are common, and there’s usually space for trailers to back to a tipping face. Weekends, especially spring cleanup times, get backed up - bring a little patience.
