(866) 909-4458A working landfill out past Wilmington that handles neighborhood cleanouts and larger commercial hauls. Trucks and trailers are common here, and most users are local residents or businesses dropping off mixed municipal refuse. The site is the final place where garbage gets buried rather than recycled or transferred.
There’s a scale and an entrance booth where vehicles stop to be weighed so tipping fees are calculated by weight; expect to stop there twice - in and out. After the booth, follow the traffic flow toward the active cell area where crews direct where to tip; the site is open, dusty, and dominated by compacted earth and rolling garbage piles. Passenger trucks and small trailers pull up to a drop-off pad while larger commercial rigs queue for the working face. The recycling or drop boxes, if present, are usually off to the side of the main traffic lane.
