Drive up to a modest entrance with an attendant booth and a weigh scale; like most landfills, tipping fees are typically charged by weight so trucks often cross the scale. After the booth the roadway leads toward the active dumping area where equipment moves loads around and cover material is staged. Vehicles queue at busy times and drivers will usually have to back into a dumping spot, then head back over the scale on exit.
