Indian Creek Landfill #2 is the burial-style landfill on W. McMullen Road just outside Hopedale. Locals and area haulers use it to dispose of final loads, and like most landfills there's a tipping-fee structure tied to weight.
Drive up to a gated entrance with a scale and a small booth area; plan to be weighed so expect to stop on the scale both in and out. The site is broad and mostly dirt/gravel with visible earthen cells and piles where material gets covered and buried. A drive will take vehicles up to the active dumping face for unloading, then back over the scale for the final weight since fees are weight-based. Surfaces at the top can be uneven, and truck and trailer traffic is common, so move cautiously.
