Milner Butte Landfill in Burley is the place most folks bring things that can't be recycled - everything ends up buried there. Pickup trucks, trailers and the occasional roll-off show up on a regular basis. It's a big, open site on 400 South that reads like the last stop for household and commercial cleanouts.
There’s a weigh scale and an entrance booth; expect to stop for a weigh-in and then again on the way out since tipping fees are charged by weight. Drive slowly on the gravel access road and follow where the bigger trucks go to find the active dumping area. The working area is mostly dirt and piled material with heavy equipment moving around, so watch for ruts and traffic. Commercial loads are commonly seen at landfills like this, so give space for larger trucks when maneuvering.
