Madison County Transfer Sta

Madison County Transfer Sta is the local transfer station in Rexburg where residents drop off household trash that gets compacted and hauled to a landfill elsewhere. Neighbors bringing loads from town or nearby farms use it when convenience centers aren't practical.

Drive up Airport Road to a fenced lot with a small entrance booth and a paved pull-through area; the booth is where vehicles typically pause before proceeding. A scale is usually part of the flow, so trucks and cars stop twice: in and then again leaving. The tipping area is a large concrete pit or bay where refuse is deposited and compacted, with larger roll-off trucks coming and going. Expect a handful of roll-up doors, concrete pads, and a few clearly separated collection points for different things.
