A weigh scale and an entrance booth are part of the drive-in procedure, so plan to stop twice for the in/out weight ticket. The site is big - rolling mounds of compacted trash and dirt roads, with traffic lanes for dump trucks and smaller vehicles. There’s usually a line on weekends and during neighborhood cleanup events, and different materials are kept apart so people don’t just dump mixed loads. Vehicles pull up to a tipping area where drivers unload and then head back across the scale to finish the transaction.
