(770) 479-1083Waste Pro - Cherokee C & D Landfill is the big construction-and-demolition landfill out on Ball Ground Highway that contractors and homeowners hauling demo or cleanout material use. It’s a working landfill-where materials get buried-so expect heavy trucks and a no-frills, industrial feel.
Drive up the long driveway and there’s a small entrance booth and a large scale you have to use; trucks generally stop to get weighed. Pull forward to the tipping area where you’ll unload and then drive back over the scale to record the out weight. The site is open, dusty, and dominated by piles and heavy equipment; visibility is good but watch for loaders and water run-off areas. Lines can build up during weekend projects or in spring when everyone’s doing renovations.
