Waste Management - Chadwick Road Landfill

13700 Chadwick Farm Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075

(866) 909-4458

A large landfill a few miles inside Roswell that handles the final burial of municipal and commercial trash. Trucks and pickups both show up here; commercial haulers commonly use it alongside residential drop-offs. The place is used by anyone hauling construction debris, yard waste, or big household cleanouts that won’t fit in the curbside can.

There’s a scale booth to stop at - loads are charged by weight so expect to be weighed going in and again on the way out. Drive up to the booth, tell them what’s on the truck, then follow the signs or attendants to the active tipping area; the site is big and open with graded dirt ramps and compacted working faces. Commercial trucks are a regular sight, so lanes and queuing can form during busy times and it can feel like a small industrial yard. The overall footprint is large and noisy at times, with heavy equipment working nearby and areas where loads are directed to different cells.

Before You Go

  • Secure loose material with a tarp before getting on the highway - loose debris will get flagged and slow the whole stop.
  • Leave extra time on weekends or spring cleanup days; lines and waiting for a scale can add 20–40 minutes or more.
  • Keep loads sorted as much as practical (metal separated from mixed debris, for example) so unloading goes faster at the tipping face.
