Seminole Road MSW Landfill on Clevemont Road in Ellenwood is the municipal dump where neighborhood trash and bigger loads get buried. Locals and contractors both show up here-expect to see cars, pickups and heavier trucks. It’s a working landfill, not a convenient recycling drop-off.
There’s a scale booth at the entrance; the site charges tipping fees by weight so most vehicles get weighed in and weighed out. Big trucks are common and the access roads are gravel with heavy equipment moving around, so drive slow and watch for backing vehicles. The site is spread out with dirt pads and rising piles of compacted material; it can be dusty and a bit smelly on windy days. Weekends and spring-cleanup times tend to have lines, so allow extra time if bringing a larger load.
