Drive up to a gate/booth area and prepare to stop on a scale so weight can be recorded; landfills like this usually charge by weight and often have a minimum tipping fee. The site is broad with dirt and gravel roads, compacting equipment and visible lined cells where material is buried; pull slowly and follow traffic flow to the active tipping face. Recycling or drop-off containers, if present, are typically off to one side past the entrance booth, and trucks will often have to circle back to the scale on exit. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be the busiest, so expect some queuing during those periods.
