(478) 750-0265Republic Services Pine Ridge Landfill is the big landfill out on Bailey Jester Road in Griffin - the place where trash gets buried as the final stop. Residents, haulers and contractors all use it when they need to drop large loads that can’t go to a curbside pickup.
The entrance has a scale house and you’ll likely have to stop there to be weighed; tipping fees are charged by weight and the scale is used both in and out. The site is large and open, with wide gravel drives and visible graded cells and heavy equipment working the piles. Pull up to the booth and workers will direct you where to tip; commercial trucks and roll-offs often have separate routing or lanes. Lines form on weekends and during spring cleanups, so there can be a wait before getting to the unloading area.
