Drive up to an entrance booth and you’ll see a scale-loads are charged by weight, so vehicles stop in twice. The site is large and mostly open dirt and compacted areas with rows of buried mounds and working equipment in view. After the booth, follow the traffic flow to the tipping face; trucks unload there and then head back over the scale. Weekends and spring cleanup times often have lineups, so plan for some wait time.
