(561) 640-4000SWA North County Landfill Operations Center is the big landfill serving West Palm Beach area customers and commercial haulers. Expect trucks, trailers, and pickup loads dropping off material that will be buried on-site. It’s the kind of place locals use when curbside pickup won’t handle the load.
Drive up to an entrance booth and be prepared to stop for a scale - landfills charge by weight so most vehicles get weighed in and out. After the booth there’s room to line up; larger commercial trucks and roll-offs are common alongside homeowner pickups. The site looks industrial: compacted dirt roads, large berms or cells, heavy equipment moving material, and separate piles for green debris during hurricane season in many Florida facilities. Expect clear traffic flow for dumping and another stop at the scale on the way out.
