(561) 697-2700SWA Home Chemical and Recycling Center is the county recycling drop-off on N Jog Road that locals use for household recycling and chemical disposal. Neighbors bring everything from curbside overflow to old paint cans and electronics. It’s the place people go when the regular pickup won’t take something or after a big yard clean-up.
Drive up to a guarded entrance with a small booth; vehicles are waved through to different curbside-style drop points. There’s a visible scale area near the entrance where trucks and trailers are weighed, so expect to stop there twice if bringing a large load. Recycling bins and containers sit in rows to the right of the entrance drive, while separate bays or covered areas handle things like electronics, batteries, and household chemicals. Weekends and hurricane-season cleanups make lines longer, and the site feels industrial-paved lots, concrete bays, and clear signs over each drop-off lane.
