Transfer Station

Coral Springs Waste Transfer Station

12600 Wiles Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33076

A local transfer station where residents and small haulers drop off household and yard debris to be compacted and trucked out to a landfill. Located in Coral Springs, this is the sort of place people use when hauling things that are too big for curbside pickup or when a landfill is farther away.

There’s usually an entrance booth and a scale so expect to slow down and stop twice - once coming in and once leaving if charged by weight. Vehicles pull up to a tipping area or open bay where debris is dumped into large containers or pits and then compacted by heavy equipment. The yard looks industrial: big piles, concrete bays and dump trucks coming and going, and plenty of dust during busy days. Weekends and hurricane-debris periods get backed up, so lines and waiting are common at peak times.

Before You Go

  • Secure and cover loads before driving in; loose debris will fly out and slow everything down.
  • Bring gloves, a tarp and boots - the ground is often uneven and wet spots appear after rain.
  • Allow extra time on weekends and during spring cleanup or after storms, and be ready to back up or maneuver in tight spaces.
