Collier County Landfill on White Lake Boulevard is the big county dump Naples residents and commercial haulers use for bulky loads and everyday trash. Trucks, pickup loads and roll-offs all show up here, so expect a busy, industrial feel. The Florida DEP oversees solid waste in the state, and operations can shift around hurricane season.
There’s a scale/entrance booth where vehicles stop to be weighed - charges are based on weight, so plan for that extra step. After the scale, follow the lanes to the drop/tipping area where loaders and compactors move material; it’s largely open dirt and filled cells with heavy equipment working. Weekends, spring-cleanup time and days after storms can have long lines and slower movement. Household hazardous items are commonly handled through county collection events instead of the regular tipping face, so don’t assume everything belongs in the main pit.
