Like many Connecticut recycling centers there’s a simple entrance with a small booth and a scale nearby, so plan to stop twice - in and out - if weight is being recorded. The site looks industrial: open bays, a handful of roll-off containers and paved areas to pull up alongside the drop-off points. Most centers in the area handle paper, cardboard, glass, metals and common plastics, and some run occasional special collections for things like electronics or large bulky items. Weekends and early spring are noticeably busier, with trucks and trailers lining up at the entrance.
