(866) 909-4458Midway Landfill is the big county-style dump just off Rancho Colorado Boulevard that locals and haulers use when regular curb pickup won't cut it. It’s the sort of place for household cleanouts, construction debris, and commercial loads that need a final resting spot. Expect a working, no-frills operation rather than anything polished.
There’s a gate booth and a scale; trucks pull up to the booth first and usually drive on the scale so charges can be based on weight, then head in to tip. The site is large and open with rolling dirt cells and compacting equipment visible from the entrance; it smells like a landfill and dust can be an issue on dry days. Traffic can back up on weekends and during spring cleanup, so allow extra time. Drivers usually need to deal with tickets or receipts at the booth before leaving and will often drive back across the scale to record outbound weight.
