Milner Landfill is the county landfill out on County Road 205, the place locals and haulers use when things need to be buried rather than recycled. It’s a working dirt-and-gravel site with heavy equipment moving around, used by residents, contractors and commercial haulers alike.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale where vehicles get weighed, so tipping fees are charged by weight rather than by load. After the scale, vehicles are directed to the active drop area or larger cells where crews push material into place. The yard is gravel and can be rough or muddy in shoulder seasons, with large trucks and loaders operating nearby. Weekends and spring-cleanup days tend to get backed up, so wait times are common.
