Broad Canyon Landfill is the rural landfill off HH31 Road in Naturita that locals and haulers use when stuff is too big for curbside pickup. Trucks, trailers and pickups are a common sight here; it handles both residential drop-offs and regular commercial traffic. The site feels like a working industrial spot rather than a tidy transfer station.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale-you’ll pull in, check in at the booth, then drive to the weigh scale before heading to the dumping area. The site is large with big dirt mounds, heavy equipment moving around, and dusty roads when it’s dry. Fees are typically assessed by weight or volume, so plan on stopping at the scale on the way out. Lines build up on weekends and during spring-cleanup season, so allow extra time if arriving then.
