Republic Services Vasco Road Landfill is the big landfill out on North Vasco Road that Livermore businesses and residents use when trash can't go in the curb bins. It’s a large commercial landfill that handles bulky loads and typical household dump runs, not a small transfer station.
Expect a security/entry booth and a public scale-vehicles stop to be weighed, so plan for a momentary hold. The site is large, with visible piles and compacted areas; trucks and roll-offs move around, so take care pulling through. Tipping fees are charged by weight and usually have different rates for residential versus commercial loads, and there are often minimum charges. Because California requires separation of recyclables and organics in many situations, some materials may need to be separated before getting on site.

- Have any commercial load paperwork or manifests ready if hauling for a business-commercial loads are accepted and usually handled differently than a household drop-off.
- Drive slowly inside the site; lanes can be narrow with heavy equipment nearby and the scale requires lining up first and then again when leaving.
- Avoid weekend mornings and spring cleanup Saturdays if possible-lines and wait times get noticeably longer then.
