Lamb Canyon Sanitary Landfill is the big landfill out on Lamb Canyon Road near Beaumont. Residents and commercial haulers use it when trash and demolition material need to be buried rather than recycled.
There’s a booth and a weigh scale at the entrance - loads are charged by weight, so expect to stop again on the way out. After the scale, follow the traffic to the active dumping area where trucks and loaders move earth and cover. The site is large and dusty with heavy equipment operating, so stay in your vehicle unless unloading. Weekends and spring cleanup see the longest lines, so plan extra time if heading out then.
