There’s an entrance booth and a yard with big tipping areas and rows of trucks and bins; pull up to the booth first to announce the load. The scale and weigh station are typically along the drive in, so expect to stop and then drive onto the tipping pad or a lane to unload. Watch for heavy equipment moving around and give crews plenty of space - the site is noisy and dusty on busy days. Recycling and organic sorting is common across California, so have anything separated or bagged the way the county requires before getting to the gate.
