BKK Landfill Inc is the big landfill out on S Azusa Ave in West Covina, used by both local residents and commercial haulers. It's the place trash ends up when everything else is done with - large trucks show up alongside pickup loads and trailers.
The site is large and dominated by graded dirt cells and rows of compacting equipment; it looks like a working industrial yard. There’s an entrance booth and a scale, so plan to stop, unload, then drive back across the scale since tipping fees are charged by weight. Commercial loads are accepted, and county and state rules in California often mean recyclables and organics need to be separated before you get there. Lines can form at peak times, and loaders and heavy trucks moving around are a constant presence.
