(530) 252-1273Bieber Transfer Station is the small transfer station just off Waste Transfer #4 Road in Bieber, California, used by local residents and small haulers bringing household trash and recyclables for relocation to a larger landfill. It’s the handy place people in town use when the nearest landfill is a long drive. The site feels like a working yard rather than a polished dump-functional and no-nonsense.
Drive up to a gated entrance with a staffed booth and be prepared to slow down and present your load; there’s usually a scale near the entrance so vehicles stop twice. The yard is compact, with concrete tipping areas and heavy equipment compacting loads before they’re loaded onto trucks headed elsewhere. Recycling or drop-off bins are commonly located off to one side of the main tipping floor, and traffic can back up on busy weekends or during spring cleanup. Bring a tarp or straps for loose material and be ready to move through the line fairly quickly once it’s your turn.
