Allied Imperial Landfill is the big burial site out on East Robinson Road in Imperial, where people bring loads that won't fit in regular pickup runs or curbside service. Trucks, contractors and homeowners show up here; expect the open, dusty feel of a working landfill rather than anything pretty.
Drive up to a small scale house/booth at the entrance and be prepared to stop for weighing-the site charges by weight so there’s usually a scale to record inbound and outbound weights. After weighing, vehicles are routed toward the active tipping area where dozers and compactors work piles of trash and cover dirt. The site is large and spread out, with big dirt cells, heavy equipment moving around, and often wind and dust; queues can form on weekends and during spring cleanup.
