There’s a scale you’ll drive across and tipping fees are charged by weight, so plan for a stop in and out. Pull up to the entrance booth area, get directed to the active cell or unloading pad, then back away when finished. The site is large with visible earth cells and cover material, and trucks come and go steadily during weekdays. Expect routine truck traffic and the typical sights and smells of a working landfill.

- Weekends-especially spring cleanup weekends-tend to be busier, so plan extra time if going then.
