Van Buren Hauling and Transfer Station

A small transfer station in Van Buren used mainly by local residents and small haulers. It’s the place trash gets compacted and then loaded onto larger trucks to be taken to a landfill elsewhere.

Drive up to a modest office or booth where vehicles stop briefly, then pull through to the tipping area and follow signs for the drop-off lanes. Loads are compacted on-site and parked trucks haul everything out to a distant landfill, so expect industrial equipment and big roll-off containers. There’s a scale and traffic flow for trucks, and weekends or spring cleanup days can get backed up.
