(800) 627-1717Republic Services Bella Vista Transfer Station is the local transfer station in Bella Vista used by residents and small haulers who don't want to drive all the way to a distant landfill. It handles loads that are compacted and then hauled out to a landfill elsewhere. The site sits at 36 Bella Vista Way and looks like the typical truck-yard style facility found outside town.
Drive up to an entrance booth/scale area and stop to be directed where to pull in; many transfer stations charge by weight, so expect to pass the scale again on the way out. The yard is mostly open pavement with large roll-off and compactor areas; crews consolidate and compact loads into larger trailers. Recycling or drop-off bins are usually off to one side past the entrance, and passenger vehicles share lanes with larger trucks, so watch for backing equipment. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be the busiest, so plan for a short wait if arriving then.
