Conway County Landfill is the county landfill just outside Morrilton that people use when curb pickup or convenience centers won’t take a load. Local residents and commercial haulers both bring full loads here; it’s the place where stuff is buried rather than recycled or transferred elsewhere. The site looks like a working landfill rather than a tidy transfer station.
There’s a scale and an entrance booth at the drive-in, so plan on stopping to be weighed and then stopping again on the way out. The access road is gravel and the unloading area has large, compacted cells and dirt ramps; pickup trucks and roll-off trucks maneuver around each other. Expect dust, mud after rain, and dump trucks coming and going, with piles and covered areas rather than neat rows of bins. Large commercial loads are handled here, and tipping fees are generally charged by weight or volume, so haulers usually get billed accordingly.
