(520) 744-2600Small but busy recycling center used by Tucson households and folks hauling from nearby neighborhoods. Most people drop off curbside overflow, boxes from moves, and anything that would otherwise head to a landfill. It sits on S Mann Ave and looks like a typical transfer station with a concrete pad and a few big roll-off bins.
Pull up to an entrance booth and be prepared to wait behind trucks during peak hours; weekends and spring cleanups can get backed up. The recycling bins and containers are grouped to the right after the gate, with a concrete tipping area where larger loads are unloaded. Signs are posted for common categories like cardboard, mixed recyclables, and metals, and many centers here also run occasional programs for electronics or appliances. Bring something to cover dusty loads-Arizona’s dry climate means dust and wind are noticeable on site.
