(520) 298-7128TANK'S Drexel Land Reclamation Facility is a local waste disposal site on the east side of Tucson that serves residential and small commercial users. Neighbors dropping off trash, green waste, or construction debris tend to use this place when hauling loads out of town.
Drive down Drexel Road to the fenced entrance where there is usually a small entrance booth and a traffic lane to pull up to. The site is open, dusty and flat-Arizona's dry climate makes it dry and windy, so expect dust and sun exposure. There will be piles and roll-off areas visible from the drive-in and places to pull up next to working areas; follow the onsite signage and traffic flow for where to stop and unload. On busy weekends lines form and larger trucks move around, so watch for backing vehicles and take care when cutting across the site.
