There’s a front area with an entrance booth and a scale, so expect to pull up, stop to be weighed and then head toward the active tipping face. The site is open desert: dusty, sparse vegetation and large earthen mounds where material is being placed. Large commercial trucks are handled here alongside smaller loads, and tipping fees are set by weight rather than by load count, so stopping on the scale happens twice - in and out.
