(928) 777-1116Small but active, Prescott Solid Waste Division is where local households and small haulers bring trash, yard clippings, and recyclables. Nestled out on Sundog Ranch Road, it's the kind of place neighbors use when hauling bigger loads than curbside can handle.
Approach a staffed entrance booth and slow down - there’s usually a short stop to tell them what’s being dropped off. A scale runs right near the entrance so vehicles often drive on and then back out after unloading. Recycling and yard waste bins sit to one side, with large open tipping areas and compactors a little farther in. Dust and loose gravel are common on the access roads, especially in dry months, and lines build up on weekends and during spring cleanup.
