Neighbors, contractors and anyone hauling a load from around town use this spot when they need to get rid of big stuff. The property sits out on E Valley Rd and looks like a working landfill setup rather than a tidy transfer center.
Drive up to an entrance booth and be prepared to pull over briefly for directions; there’s usually a scale and traffic flow to follow for the larger trucks. The site has big open tipping areas and piles of material visible from the drive-in, with compactors and heavy equipment moving things around. Recycling or drop-off containers are typically off to one side past the entrance area. Weekends, especially during busy cleanup seasons, tend to be the slowest-moving times, so lines can form.
