800-963-4776Gray Wolf Regional Landfill is the big county landfill out by Dewey that handles the region’s trash - mostly used by commercial haulers and people with large loads. It's a large, open-site landfill in Arizona's dry country, so expect the typical desert setting and wide access roads to the working face.
Drive up to an entrance booth and be prepared to stop at the scale - this place charges by weight, so trucks usually stop twice. The tipping area is out in the open; there are piles and compacted cells rather than a tidy transfer building, and it can be dusty on windy days. Commercial trucks and roll-offs are common, so there will often be a line of haulers waiting during busy periods.
