(602) 237-2078Central Arizona Transfer Station in Queen Creek is the local drop-off spot where residential trash gets compacted and sent on to a landfill elsewhere. Neighbors bring household loads here instead of driving all the way out to a regional landfill. It's the kind of place used by people clearing out garages or hauling yard debris from around town.
Pull in to an entrance booth and announce your load; there’s usually a scale nearby so vehicles stop twice - once coming in and again on the way out. The site is open and dusty, with large concrete tipping areas and big trucks coming and going, so expect noise and diesel smells at times. Vehicles are directed to a tipping floor or compactor area where loads are emptied and sorted before being staged for transport. Lines are common on weekends and during seasonal cleanups, so plan for possible waits.
