It’s a burial-type landfill - the end point for inert and construction-type material - and both residential drop-offs and commercial haulers typically use places like this.
Drive up to a gate and an entrance booth where vehicles queue to be weighed; landfills of this scale usually charge tipping fees by weight, so expect a stop on the scale both coming and going. The site is wide open, dusty and sparse - long dirt ramps, piles of compacted fill, and heavy equipment moving around. Pull up to the tipping area when directed, then back up the ramp or angle in depending on the layout; larger trucks are common, so give them space.
