People from Bay Minette and nearby rural roads swing by with pickup loads and trailer loads, especially on weekends and during seasonal cleanups.
There’s a pull-up entrance with an attendant booth and a scale nearby, so expect to stop and be weighed - most transfer stations charge by weight. Trucks and trailers line up before the compactor area; larger vehicles may have to wait their turn while staff run the loader and compactors. Recycling bins (if available) tend to sit off to one side past the booth, and the lot is mostly gravel or packed dirt with a few marked lanes.
