(256) 381-9030A local solid waste facility in Tuscumbia serving residents and small haulers from around the Shoals area. Located on Missouri Street, it's the place people bring household trash, recyclables and yard debris when curbside pickup won't cut it.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale you'll cross coming in and again on the way out, so vehicles stop twice. Pull up slowly; the recycling bins are usually off to the right just past the booth and larger dumpsters and yard waste piles sit further in. The surface is a mix of pavement and gravel with heavy truck activity, so expect some dust and the smell of fresh-cut grass during yard waste season. Lines form on weekends and during spring cleanup, so traffic can back up into the driveway.
