Morris Farm Landfill is the Hillsboro landfill on County Road 418 where both household pickups and commercial haulers drop off material to be buried. It gets used by local residents clearing out yards and by contractors with bigger loads, so traffic can be mixed.
There’s a scale just past the entrance booth and tipping fees are handled by weight, so expect to stop on the scale coming in and again when you leave. Pull up to the booth and then follow the site traffic toward the active dumping area; the yard is wide open with large mounds and heavy equipment working the piles. Watch for trucks backing up and for lines that form on weekends or during spring cleanup.
