Coffee County Land Fill sits just off AL-125 a few miles outside Elba and is the spot locals use when household trash or a full trailer needs dumping. Neighbors from around Coffee County bring everything from small car loads to larger pickups here; it’s a county landfill serving the community.
The entrance has a small booth and a scale, so plan for a short stop at the gate and another weigh when you leave. Pull up to the booth and follow the traffic flow toward the tipping area-there’s an obvious open clearing where vehicles unload. The site is wide open with dirt and packed areas rather than paved lanes, and on busy days there are trucks lined up and a bit of dust in the air.
