This is the City of Decatur-Morgan County Regional MSW Landfill out on Landfill Drive in Trinity. Locals and county haulers bring household trash and larger loads here. It’s the place neighbors think of when they need to drop off a truckload or debris from a cleanout.
There’s an entrance booth and a weigh scale near the drive-in, so plan to stop and pull up slowly. Big trucks, dump trailers and a fair bit of dust are common - the working area is a wide open pad with piles and haul roads. Drivers usually get directed to a tipping area on the pad, then return to the scale on the way out. Lines can form on weekends and during seasonal cleanups, so expect a bit of waiting at peak times.
